Heart Gold / Soul Silver

has anyone else played it? i played the japanese heart gold and i think its AMAZING i ant wait for the english versions lol

I haven't played the Japanese version, I get lost easily in non-English games.
But I'm excited for it to come out, I'm gonna get SoulSilver

I study japanese so thats an advantage xD but i guess if you've played g/s/c you just remember the storyline from the past lol
I think its awesome how theres a safari zone by Cianwood City

Actually, I never played the G/S/C games. HG/SS will be my first Johto experience. xD
I haven't decided which starter I'm going to pick. I'm thinking of getting either Chikorita or Totodile.

Im gunna go for Cyndaquil as my 1st choice or Totodile ^.^ or reset 3 times, getting the 3 starters and then wait for my friend to breed me the 3 ^.^

I might just go with Totodile. I've heard that Chikorita isn't that good. xD

Ive never played the game with chickorita, but ive never been a fan of grass type. Meganium looks really cool but is only really good for defences. Plus it has a pretty small move pool in my opinion

That's true, I'm just gonna get Totodile. Or I will get Chikorita first, trade it to my brother's game, restart, then choose Totodile. My brother is already getting Cyndaquil, so it works out perfectly

I'm Pretty Sure everyone's forgetting that at level 8, chikorita learns Razor Leaf. 55att, and High Crit. Which is astounding for a level 8, fast leveling pokemon..... But Cyndaquil is so COOOL!

Cyndaquil is soo awesome lol feraligatr looks cool too xD but is better as a physical sweeper. Croconaw just looks wrong.. Kinda like a fat caveman...

Yeah... Croconaw has..... Problems. I Wonder if they've changed the space for Pokemons names enough to allow all of Feraligatr's yet lol

Hmm. I might get Chikorita now.
What do you guys think is the best to go with: Totodile or Chikorita? xD

its up to you really. in the later stages Feraligatr can be a good sweeper and Meganium from what i remember has decent defences and alright Special Atk. For gaming purposes i guess i would go Chikorita but for competitive play maybe totodile ^_^

Well, I sure don't do a lot of competitive battling, so then I'll just get Totodile first, trade, then get Chikorita instead. Also, it'd be trying something new instead of picking the water type each time. xD

Yea well if you're not a competitive battler then just chose whatever one you like most xD any pokemon at a high enough level will get you through the game ^_^

Well, I'm used to starters with a lot of defense, so maybe I should just go with Chikorita anyways. xD

I have heard that you can ride your bike in the water in these games. Sounds awesome
