Yes its true! Jump on your wi-fi and nab yourself an oppourtunity to get a Shaymin! I dont know all details or have wifi so im giving my ds to a friend to get it lol

Yep, there's a Shaymin event, and you get Seabreak Path and Flower Paradise added to your map, too.
You have to get Oak's Letter via Wi-Fi Mystery Gift.

I caught the Shaymin already.
And I know that Seabreak Path is definitely the longest route in Pokemon history...xD

I'll have to wait till next before i can get Oak's letter. I cant wait to get it xD it will be my first wifi event catch. I just missed out on Darkrai by a few days Suspect

I've read that the Oak's Letter event ends on November 8th.

Thats good for me, so does that mean you have to get Shaymin before then or is that just the cut-off date for getting the letter? coz i have to give my DS to my friend as i have no wifi lol im so eager to get it but theres still a week of school holidays for me lol, we're going to get them a the same time so we can trade when we get them ^_^

I think it's just a cut-off for getting the letter. You can get the Shaymin anytime.

It always takes me awhile to get to that route too, since you also have to get through Victory Road.
And it was kind of hard capturing Shaymin since I had high level Pokemon and forgot that Shaymin was only level 30. Razz

I think my Shaymin has a Lax nature. I don't think I'll raise it for battling since it didn't get a good nature, I'm using it for contests. Like a Star @ heaven

It took awhile to get through the Victory Road route for me...make sure that your friend brings a Pokemon with Defog. xD It'll be hard to see.

Another quick question.. Its the normal shaymin form in this event? Shaymins ev spread is so cool xD

Yeah, you catch the normal Shaymin.
But you can go to Floraroma Town and talk to this blond-haired lady with Shaymin in the front of your party.
She'll give you the Gracidea Flower so that you can change the Shaymin to Sky Form.

Normal Shaymin has all 100 stats, and Sky Form leans more towards offense and it is faster.

I heard Sky form is uber too.. might just leave it as normal ^_^ I got my Shaymin thismorning!!!! Timid!!! (+Speed -Atk) im so happy haha
